SHELLEY DOTY and her X-TET put out some serious danceable funky stuff at the San Rafael 4th St. Tavern, just north of San Francisco. (Take the Central San Rafael exit, take a left (West) on 4th St., and it's on your left within a block or so.) The crowd couldn't stop moving. It was a great show.
