My favorite, the Hydrofoils, Russian made I think. Loud,
fast, with lots of foul smelling smoke following them.
We saw lots of views like these. On the left I think a sign
near the building tells the boat if it must wait for another coming down the
river or can continue on through the narrow area ahead.

Some corn on the side of the gorge. There were often peanuts
grown near the corn, there may even be some in this photo, but I can't tell
for sure.
As you can see, the water is really high.


It may seem like there was a whole lot of agriculture on the sides of the gorges from these photos, but there were far more steep hillsides without crops than there were with crops.
