The White Pagoda in Dazu county can be seen from the entrance to the Beishan caves.
Looking in through a doorway at the bottom of the pagoda, you
see this:
From where the Pagoda stands, you can kind of see the town of
Dazu off down the hill in the mist.
The statues lurking below the huge white pagoda. People burned
incense and prayed, while behind us firecracker salesmen lit off their wares.
